Viking Time Intervention Discussion
Viking Time Intervention Discussion
- Discuss Plan for Viking Time Interventions
- Round 2 will start Oct 11
- One Intervention per PLC (cap)
- Intervention IS NOT makeup work.
- If a PLC would like to hold a make-up work session, this should be called something other than Intervention. Intervention should be based on standards and standards recovery.
- PLCs should work together to develop the lesson plans for Intervention so that the Intervention teacher doesn't have soul responsibility of creating the Lessons.
- PLCs should be targeting students for Intervention that meet the appropriate criteria for eligibility for Intervention.
- Students should be allowed opportunities to recover standards during Intervention and this can improve their grade.
- Look at the Questions that were submitted from PD Spreadsheet Link
- Student Friendly Summary Statement for the Success Skills - See Advisory Lesson
- Discuss Scale created for scoring of Backpack artifacts for Defense
- Discuss Presentation Guidelines
- Discuss: What is a passing score?
